Description

Keep the textured mesh camera as a portable baseline and camera-contract validator, not the hyper-realistic end state.

Acceptance

  • Calibrated synchronized RGB reaches ordinary DimOS consumers
  • Rendering cannot pace or stop physics, control, TF, lidar, or reset
  • Spatial-memory smoke coverage runs with retained images and failure category
  • Results form the baseline for the Gaussian-splat camera runtime

Research direction

The issue provides no file, test, or entry-point names, so begin by locating the textured mesh camera and the spatial-memory smoke coverage. Use the acceptance list to define completion: synchronized RGB must reach ordinary DimOS consumers, rendering must not pace or stop other systems, and retained-image failures must be categorized.
