Description

  • Store agent state to disk and restore previous state when dimos run is started again.
  • This could always happen or maybe we should have sessions like Claude Code and have to pass a --restore-session=<UUID> to dimos run

Research direction

Start by locating the implementation and state handling behind dimos run, then inspect how an agent's current state is represented and whether existing session behavior is documented. The issue is complete when a chosen restoration flow reliably persists agent state and restores it on a later run, with the behavior and any session-selection interface covered by tests.
