First page not intuitive

When starting saim, the first page could be very confusing for people who didn't write the program. The metric graph is shown but no endpoint is chosen yet so you cannot possibly build a metric anyways. The only options the user has are:
1. go to the wizard
2. import a spec

So ihmo it would be better to have a front page with 2 giant buttons, "new" and "import" (or "load").

Start at the GUI's current first page and inspect how the metric graph, wizard, and spec import are presented. Compare the current flow with the linked screenshot, then make the initial choices clearly expose separate "new" and "import" actions; done means users can reach the wizard or import a spec directly without an endpoint selected.
