Description

There are many features I want to support that rely on the simulator running at >1kHz.
1. Firmware interrupts/tasks/routines that run at >1kHz
2. High-frequency data logging
3. High-frequency models (sensors, actuators, etc.)

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by locating the simulator's timing loop and action-scheduling path, then examine how firmware routines, data logging, and models are executed. Done means all three listed use cases can operate when the simulator runs above 1 kHz.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.
