Description
I know there is already a citation guideline in the readme, but it could be a good idea to add a CITATION.cff and/or CITATION.bib file in the root folder of the repo. It will give access to the 'cite my repo' functionality directly in the interface

- Open a pull request that references the issue number.
Research direction
Start with the existing citation guideline in the README and inspect the repository root. Add a CITATION.cff and/or CITATION.bib file containing the repository's citation information, then confirm that the resulting file is suitable for the interface's "cite my repo" functionality.
