Description

Hello
Is there any possibility to label the different fitting dimension and save them with the hdf backend?
This feature would help to evaluate the different walker chains after the fit was complete, if there is a dynamic number of parameters.

kind regards,
Paul

Research direction

Review emcee's HDF backend and the handling of fitting dimensions, starting with how walker chains are currently stored and retrieved. Define how labels for a dynamic number of parameters would be persisted and exposed so completed chains can be evaluated by parameter name.
