Description

When I run dfx generate XXX, it deletes all canister variables in .env, except of CANISTER_ID_XXX. That's a bug.

$ dfx --version
dfx 0.24.3

Sorry for not describing all it in details, as I should: I am very busy.

Research direction

Start by reproducing dfx generate XXX with dfx 0.24.3 using an .env containing multiple canister variables. Trace the generate command's handling of .env; done means generating one canister variable without deleting unrelated variables.
