Description

Playing around with https://a4gq6-oaaaa-aaaab-qaa4q-cai.raw.ic0.app/?id=rdmx6-jaaaa-aaaaa-aaadq-cai I noticed that Candid UI isn’t using the blob shorthand when pretty-printing vec nat8 data. I think that shorthand is almost always the better choice.

Research direction

Start with the Candid UI linked in the issue and trace how it pretty-prints vec nat8 values. The work is done when those values use the blob shorthand consistently instead of the expanded representation.
