Description

When working within a wider community it would be beneficial for subcommunities that have OSMTeams to be able to belong to more than one organisation. For example, within the Caribbean, several open-source mapping communities in each country work together in the overall OSM Caribbean Community. These would include organisations like YouthMappers Chapters, YEAC, HOT LAC Hub, GISSTT, etc., just to name a few. We would like to propose that a team be able to fall under more than one organization so that their efforts can be tracked and counted in both organization's contributions as they map for multiple communities. An example of this would be the YouthMappers Chapters that operate out of Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago and St Lucia. Presently, their projects will be tallied under the YouthMappers Organization only, and not the OSM Caribbean Organization. Yes, we can manually add the members to both Organizations, but it would be easier and more streamlined if we could just have the option to have the team fall under both organizations.

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points, so first trace how teams are associated with organizations and how contributions are tallied. Define the data and workflow needed for one team to belong to multiple organizations, then verify that the team's projects are counted for each organization without requiring duplicate membership.
