multiple taps to select a feature

Received this feedback after the latest release:

> Is there a sensitivity setting that could be changed for selecting some of the features (linear features mainly) it can take 2-3 taps at time to have the way be selected, is a bit easier if zoomed in further, but even when being careful it sometimes wouldn't select.

My first guess is that maybe the query bounding box we're using on tap isn't big enough. Not sure if that's it, though.

I've also noticed that it's difficult to select a feature that is underneath the blue location indicator (this may need to be a separate issue).
