## Project Goal
Equip SERVIR-Amazonia with the knowledge and resources to improve the usability and design of their web tools to promote wider use and direct end-user impact.

## Client and other Stakeholders
We will primarily be working with Vanesa Martin-Arias and Africa Flores Cordova. The are both based in Huntsville, Alabama (CST). The work with a team of developers and other stakeholders (details to be added later).

Each application has a different set of user bases, most are Spanish speaking. Some applications like fire forecast and amazon dashboard are in active use. The gold mining app is new and has not yet been used by the public. We plan on working with the end users to evaluate usability and design. However, our primary goal is to serve the team that will be implementing the changes. Understanding their needs as designers and developers will help us deliver tools to help them on their way to building and improving their projects.

## Project Phases
1) Updated Amazon Dashboard and RADAR Monitoring of Gold Mining (RAMI) applications.
**Milestone 1.1:** Design Review and Usability Testing Report

2) Front-end and back-end design templates for GEE-based and non-GEE based applications.
**Milestone 2.1:** Architectural Design Documents

3) Design implementation and capacity building.

**Milestone 3.2:** Capacity Building Support Logs: Report of how budgeted hours were spent with notes on what was accomplished

4) UX/UI training and co-development sessions with SERVIR-Amazonia UX/UI consultant and GIT team.

### Communication

We plan on blocking primarily Thurs, Friday and some of Wed for this project

- meetings: weekly hub meetings Wed 11am Peru time
