Consider supporting recent non-LTS version(s) of ubuntu (lunar, mantic)

Hi,

I'm trying to use devcontainers for c++ development, but since I need a recent compiler, I need to use Ubuntu 24.03 (lunar) as base. This isn't supported - I need to customize every image and features I need (e.g. docker-in-docker fails on lunar, even though commenting the version check is the only modification neccessary for it to work).

Please consider supporting more recent ubuntu versions as recent compilers aren't available on older LTS releases...
