Spawn ENOTDIR error is too vague

### Describe the bug

An error box pops up that says "Error - spawn ENOTDIR", and continues to pop up when I click "Close" sometimes 10-15 times. It seems that the longer the app remains idle in the background the more times I must close the error.

### Version & OS

GitHub Desktop Version 2.5.0
macOS Mojave Version 10.14.6

### Steps to reproduce the behavior

Unclear... I assume possibly something to do with my filesystem.

### Expected behavior

I expect this error to tell me if there is an issue with a specific repository or configuration so I can try to fix it.

### Actual behavior

I receive a vague and unhelpful error.
