swipe to show menu.

Hi,
is there method to show menu just by swiping. Not using the left menu button?
Currently it seems swiping only works when left menu is brought initially by tapping the button.
The menu does not appear when swiped on view without tapping button.
Any suggestion will be appreciated

Reproduce the issue by swiping on a view before tapping the left menu button, then compare that with swiping after the button has been tapped. Trace the existing swipe and menu-opening entry points and confirm that the menu appears in both cases without requiring the initial button tap.
