Reason for IB equipment quantity limitations

Description
We notice that the 3FS node service has a limit on the number of IB devices (4), and after exceeding it, we need to select the specified device through a filter, what is the reason for this design?
Also, for multiple IB device scenarios, will the affinity of IB devices between IB switches be taken into account when Client communicates with Storage?
