Sorry if this seems like two different issues, but they go hand-in-hand.
When working with deeply nested files in the Project Tree, there is no way to scroll from side to side to move the focus to such files, and allow for the viewing of the Add Button ("+"). This can easily happen when adding custom java files to the project.

To keep users from having to use a slider in some cases, since the "Add Button" shows along the right edge when hovering over the row, could adding the ability to see the Plus/Add Button when the filename is in the way be a feasible idea? For instance fade the end of the file name that is restricting the view, allowing for a space for this button to be viewed regardless.
Of course the project tree can be scaled, or folder right-clicked, but being able to have consistent functionality regardless of tree size, and how deep in the tree.
