Description
Hey,
far only W3C DIDs/VCs and X.509 have been discussed. Another interesting technology stack to consider is KERI and AIDs/ACDCs which is gaining momentum. AIDs are verifiable identifiers similar to DIDs, and ACDCs are a different type of VC that offer additional features such as credential chaining. While the main use case for these technologies is currently vLEIs, they could potentially be an option for the C2PA identity assertions. However, I'm not knowledgeable enough about KERI/ACDC and the C2PA spec to make a definitive assessment but I think it's at least worth looking at what they are doing. Perhaps we can learn something from the KERI universe.
@scouten-adobe You may want to talk to [Sam M. Smith](https://www.linkedin.com/in/samuel-m-smith/), the creator of KERI, about this. If I recall correctly some of the developers in the KERI space, like Lance Byrd and Philip Feairheller, were also in the ToIP meeting.
