## **Problem**

There is no urgency or time-based incentive in the current marketplace — every listing sits at the same price indefinitely. Creators have no mechanism to run a sale, and buyers have no reason to act now rather than later, suppressing impulse purchases and reducing conversion.

## **Proposal**

Support time-boxed discounted listings: creators set a discount percentage and an end date; buyers see a "SALE -X%" badge, struck-through "was" price, discounted "now" price, and a live countdown that ticks per-minute until the final hour, then per-second. The rendering foundation (badges, countdown component, price display) is already shipped; remaining work is server-side catalog support for sale metadata and a creator "Put on sale" UI.
