how to deploy backend?

I tried to deploy backend(indexer), but step 1 'npm run codegen' is required 'subgraph.yml'.

I copied & modified '.subgraph.yml' but it is required some variables(network, address, startBlock...).

Is it correct editing new subgraph.yml based on .subgraph.yml?

so how should I editing .subgraph.yml & deploy this project?

I can't find any guide.
