### Link to the page on docs.getdbt.com requiring updates
idea from https://github.com/dbt-labs/dbt-core/issues/8753 (thanks @tomans-spirent!)
except for [overriding the generate_schema_name() macro](https://docs.getdbt.com/docs/build/custom-databases#generate_database_name), I can't find anywhere that calls this out. Not sure of a good place, but it should be visible!
