Lightbox sometimes bugs out when clicking outside the diagram

When clicking on the empty space around the diagram, the lightbox should normally close. However, when hitting the area of a square bounding box (i.e. above or below if the diagram is wider than tall, left or right if it's taller than wide), the lightbox instead zooms into the clicked point, often scrolling the actual diagram off screen.
