Example of task-graph speed-up?

This example shows how to use the dask gridsearch:
http://dask-ml.readthedocs.io/en/latest/examples/hyperparameter-search.html

but it only provides very modest speedups. Do you know why that is? I had seen experiments where the time using dask was just a fraction of the time with the vanilla version.
