Description

As a strategy game enthusiast, I really enjoyed the game. For first impression: I have a few suggestions that I believe could further improve the overall experience, and I would be happy to contribute to these areas if you find them useful.

**Army Composition-Based Battle Sounds**

The sound effects played during battles could dynamically change depending on the composition of the participating armies:

**Musket sounds** when infantry units are present,
**Cannon fire** when artillery units are involved,
Horse movement and **cavalry charge sounds** when cavalry units participate.

This could make battles feel more atmospheric while also highlighting the differences between army compositions.

**Terrain-Based Combat Modifiers**

Allowing the geographical characteristics of territories to affect battle outcomes could add greater strategic depth to the game.

For example:

Konya – Plains: Cavalry units could receive a **10% attack bonus.**
Sivas – Hills: The attacking side could receive a **5% penalty**, while the defending side gains a **5% bonus**.
Erzurum – Mountains: The attacking side could receive a **15% penalty**, while the defending side gains a **10% bonus**. Cavalry units could also receive an additional **25% penalty** in mountain terrain.

This system would encourage players to consider both the terrain of the territory they are attacking and the types of units they deploy. Displaying the active modifiers before an attack and on the battle results screen could also make the system clearer and more transparent.

**Map View Layers**

A map-layer system could help players examine the geographical characteristics of different territories more easily. For example, players could switch between the **political view**, which uses flags and faction colours, and a **geographical view** displaying plains, hills and mountains.

**Combat View**

A dedicated **combat view** could be displayed while battles are taking place. This screen could show:

The advantages and disadvantages of each side,
Terrain and unit modifiers,
Dice rolls,
The different stages and final outcome of the battle.

Small-scale animations and different visuals for **victory** and **defeat** could make battles more engaging and easier to follow.

**Event Illustrations**

Using thematic illustrations alongside the text in event pop-ups could make events more visually appealing, memorable and atmospheric.

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named. First survey the existing battle, map, and event systems, then clarify which proposal is in scope; done would require an agreed design and acceptance criteria for the selected feature rather than implementing all suggestions at once.
