From Heide's v0.1.20 testing: "the letters still pop up too fast but I mean it's not unbearable" — she lives with it because the speed slider is buried in the main app's settings.

Add a small speed control (e.g. a − / + stepper in the top bar) so speed can be adjusted in place while typing. The engine already exposes dasher_set_speed; NativeBridge has setSpeed. Persisted via the shared settings file, so the main app stays in sync.
