Proxy

My organisation have everything connected behind the proxy. I am developing an ios app works inside the organisation network. Normally for those site within the same network, we put those address in the no_proxy. I just to connect a web socket server behind the proxy. Seems that I am not getting the connection. How do you specify the proxy, and how do i exclude some site ?
