[win 5.6.1] zh_cn language not working.

Is there an existing issue for this?

• I checked and did not find my issue in the already reported ones

Describe the bug

Cannot change the language to zh_cn.

Steps to reproduce

1. install 5.6.1.
2. setting.
3. general
4. interface language
5. 汉语(zh_CN)*

reboot the darktable.
still english.

PLEASE NOTE:

• the issue only occur on zh_cn.
• Other language working fine, like "zh_tw" and "ja".

Expected behavior

change language to zh_cn successful

Reproduce the issue in darktable 5.6.1 on Windows 11 by selecting 汉语(zh_CN) and restarting, then compare the behavior with zh_TW and ja. Trace the Windows language-selection and localization path; the fix is complete when zh_CN remains selected and the interface displays Chinese after restart.
