Description
Is there an existing issue for this?
- I checked and did not find my issue in the already reported ones
Describe the bug
Windows 11 apparently changed something in the most-recent pushed update blocks execution of Darktable in that it now claims it cannot verify the authorship of multiple DLLs in the Darktable "bin" directory and it refuses to load. There is no apparently "exemption" capable other than shutting off ALL scanning security within Windows (and that, if done, is permanent and cannot be reversed except by complete reinstall.
Steps to reproduce
Attempt to load Darktable (5.6.0 or 5.6.1, I installed the upgrade to attempt to clear it without success)
Expected behavior
Should execute normally

Research direction
Start by reproducing the failure with the darktable.org/GitHub release of 5.6.1 on Windows 11 Pro build 26200, including both the application and CLI. Inspect the Windows message about unsigned DLLs and compare the affected release artifacts; done means Darktable loads and the CLI runs without requiring Windows security to be disabled.
