right click on value, moving the mouse doesn't change the value

Describe the bug

When you right click on a value, you should be able to move the mouse right/left to change the value. nothing happens.
Was working in 5.6.0. Not working in Bill Ferguson Windows Insider 8/16/26 darktable 5.7.0-537 from pixls.us

Steps to reproduce

1. darkroom
2. any module with a value
3. right click on the value
4. move the mouse left/right

Expected behavior

change the value of the property

Reproduce this in darkroom using any module with a value: right-click the value, then move the mouse left and right. Trace the value interaction from that entry point and compare behavior with darktable 5.6.0. Done means mouse movement after right-click changes the property value on Windows.
