Right clicking a path feather point (easily confused with a control point) deletes the whole path

Is there an existing issue for this?

Describe the bug

When I delete control points from an AI mask, the whole mask disappears. I know I'm deleting a control point rather than a segment because the control point is highlighted as it does during mouse over. But it looks like the highlighted point is further from the mouse than I'd expect. Maybe the display logic (highlighting a control point) is offset from the mask change logic (deleting a point versus a segment).

Steps to reproduce

• Make a complex AI mask with a lot of overlapping points.
• Commit the mask.
• Delete points in the dense regions.
• The mask disappears.

Reproduce the issue with a complex committed AI mask containing overlapping points, following the described deletion steps and reviewing the attached screencast and log. Compare which point is highlighted on mouse-over with what is removed when deleting it; done means deleting a control point no longer removes the whole mask.
