Description

Is there an existing issue for this?
  • I checked and did not find my issue in the already reported ones
Describe the bug

When running Linux Mint 22.3 Zena/Ubuntu 24.04 noble, Darktable hangs when viewing uv view in vectorscope.

Steps to reproduce

Click 'set view to ...' in vectorscope.

Expected behavior

Should cycle round to the next vectorscope view (but it doesn't get there, so can't say waht it is!)

Are you using OpenCL GPU in darktable?

Should be.

If yes, what is the GPU card and driver?

Intel Corporation Meteor Lake-P [Intel Arc Graphics] (rev 08)

Please provide additional context if applicable. You can attach files too, but might need to rename to .txt or .zip

By default I'm stuck in vectorscope RGB view.
Can switch to 'waveform' and 'RGB parade' views, but movement within vectorscope isn't possible.

Research direction

Reproduce the hang from the vectorscope “set view to ...” control on the reported Linux Mint/Ubuntu setup, noting that waveform and RGB parade views still work. Start by tracing the vectorscope view-switching entry point and compare it with the working view changes; done means cycling from RGB to uv no longer hangs and reaches the next view.
