Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

can't copy and edit my 10TB library for editing to my 512GB laptop hard drive for editing in the internet cafe or easily email down-sized versions of my darktable library that are editable.

support compressed-raw formats and images that contain or support multiple raw versions at different file-sizes and qualities
