Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
authenticated applications shoudl be able to control darktable modules, effects and library datalog as well as remotely trigger previews . This allows networked applications such as a mobile app, or editing automation app to use darktable as a service.

Any type of xmp-push or remote control websocket or
Alternatives
Anything that allows darktable and/or its related applications to live on multiple computers over a network , possibly in different locations and using a shared drive.
