Description

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
During the holidays I wanted to print some images. I had letter size photo paper(close to A4) at home. I wanted to print two 5 x 7 images. I was able to create the layout for the images, but one of the images was in portrait within the darkroom and the other one in landscape. I had to return to the darkroom and purposely rotate the image "wrong", so it will be placed in the layout correctly.

Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to be able to rotate the image within the image layout inside the print module

Alternatives
I was able to work around by going to the darkroom to rotate the image just for printing.

Additional context
A few other things I noticed, if you leave the print module to go and rotate the image in the darkroom, all of your layout settings are lost. I had to create presets just to work around this. I can understand the setting resetting if I close dt, but ideally they should remain when you move to lighttable or darkroom.

And since we are talking about rotate, another new feature could be the ability to just zoom/crop the image within the image layout (just to make it fit the paper).

Research direction

Start with the print module's image/paper layout and trace how layout settings are handled when moving between the print module, darkroom, and lighttable. Clarify whether the initial scope is image rotation only or also zoom/crop and settings persistence. Done should allow an image to rotate within the layout without changing the source image, with the agreed layout behavior preserved.
