Description

Hello. I'd like to request support for "compressed" RAF for Darktable for Fujifilm GFX 100 II camera files. Currently only LOSSLESS compression method is supported in Darktable (tested in 5.0.1 and 5.4.0, same result).

  • LOSSLESS 16 bit = works ok
  • LOSSLESS 14 bit = works ok
  • COMPRESSED 16 bit = shows in lighttable, but cannot import in darkroom
  • COMPRESSED 14 bit = shows in lighttable, but cannot import in darkroom

Both 16 and 14 bit compressed files from GFX 100 II don't work for import in darkroom, with message:

  • image 'filename' could not be loaded unsupported file format. file is not in any recognized format, switching to lighttable now.

I've tested this with older GFX 100s and GFX 100S II and get same result, so this affects other Fujifilm GFX camera models as well, since compression files likely using same algorithm.

This is not new issue. Example files that give this error:
https://raw.pixls.us/data/Fujifilm/GFX100%20II/_DSF0265.RAF
https://raw.pixls.us/data/Fujifilm/GFX100%20II/_DSF0266.RAF

Is it possible to fix this issue in future release? Thanks!
