Description
Is there an existing issue for this?
- I checked and did not find my issue in the already reported ones
Describe the bug
Windows 11. After upgrading from 5.2.x to 5.4.0, in darkroom mode, the extra text after the module name renders poorly. Possibly a rendering issue or a darktable requirement for a font that is not installed.
Issue explanation, sample screen shots and discussion at pixls.us.
Other Windows users are having the same issue. A user that says he installed a custom font in Windows says he doesn't have an issue. This issue did not exist in Windows for 5.2.x and prior. Regression introduced in 5.4.0.

Steps to reproduce
- On Windows
- open darkroom
- Add a module with a preset. Observe the extra text after the module name

Research direction
Start by reproducing the font-rendering problem on Windows 11 in darkroom mode using the listed preset and rename steps, then review the linked pixls.us discussion for the screenshots and font observations. Done means identifying the 5.4.0 regression and restoring readable extra text after module names on affected Windows installations.
