Research direction

Start by reproducing the import dialog on Linux with the latest git version, using the issue's reported Arch/GNOME environment as a reference. Locate the code responsible for the import dialog's sizing and verify that the dialog and its bottom buttons are fully visible; confirm the fix by repeating the reproduction steps.
