Description
Is there an existing issue for this?
- I checked and did not find my issue in the already reported ones
Describe the bug
When importing DNG straight from the Pixii+ camera, Darktable reports forward matrix issues for all DNG files.
Importing the files seem to work fine though.
Camera model: Pixii Camera A2572+
Darktable: 5.0.1 (Fedora 42 RPM from official repo)
Attached is an example DNG file from the camera: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VRfTZYqRx0hQScM6G7H4kNG2b0ny_b7N/view?usp=sharing
Steps to reproduce
- Import DNG files from the Pixii+ camera
- Darktable shows forward matrix error notifications on import

Research direction
Start by reproducing the import with the linked Pixii+ DNG on darktable 5.0.1 and trace where the forward-matrix notification is emitted. Compare the camera metadata with existing DNG handling; done when Pixii+ files import without the notification while normal processing remains intact.
