Sony Alpha A850 Tethered Shooting cursed

Tethered Shooting with my Sony Alpha 850 (almost same camera as the more known A900) does not work properly. Whenever I try to change a setting the program crashes.
Since Sony ditched tethered shooting support for this camera model in their new releases of Imaging Edge I am looking for programs that do have this capability. Sadly there seem to are none. Darktable offers the most functionality with actually being able to trigger the shutter however nothing more.

I am on a M1 Macbook. Screenshots below.
