[BUG] Installation for Pi is different for generic linux

Pip install requirements.txt wasn't working on non debian system

**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior: TBC but same installation instructions for pi

Install with no errors

Need to reinvestigate

Start by reviewing the installation instructions and requirements.txt, then reproduce the pip installation on a non-Debian Linux system and on the Pi if available. The issue is done when the documented installation completes without errors on generic Linux as well as the Pi.
