Arc as an Authentication and Upgrade Layer for my Contract

I'm trying to use this project instead of Aragon which is too outdated. I read the suggested Arc blog post. I created a DAO on mainnet with a token, all smooth. Now I want to use the DAO as an authentication and upgrade layer for my own contract. With Aragon, I'd extend AragonOS: https://hack.aragon.org/docs/aragonos-building Here, I extend UniversalScheme? Please help me get started. I do need much hand holding, but I see no docs as it stands.
