Highlight Uncompleted Todo Items

It would be nice to have an option to allow for uncompleted (unchecked) todo lines to be bold or a color that stands out. The longer my list gets, the harder it is to see what is/isn't completed.

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the code that renders TODO lines and the existing option or configuration handling, then determine how unchecked items can be styled. Done means an opt-in setting makes uncompleted TODO lines visibly distinct while completed lines remain unchanged, with coverage for the new behavior if the project has relevant tests.
