Playstation 3 Issues

Hi,

I converted a 1080p MKV (AC3) file using the Sony Playstation 3 device profile and Normal preset. However, the resulting file (MP4) is not listed by the PS3 when browsing the directories over the network (using ushare). Other movies in other directories work fine (mostly AVIs), so the network browsing and playing is ok. I've tried taking the spaces out of the file name and changing its file extension to MPG or AVI, but no joy.

Not really sure how to diagnose the problem, but I'm happy to try things out with guidance.
