Description

I am working with the EBRAINS team so that DANDI data is discoverable on EBRAINS. The EBRAINS platform requires that the acquired data has been approved by an ethics governing body. In many cases it can be assumed that data acquired at certain institutions have been approved by the local IACUC or IRB offices but since we accept data from all countries and cannot be aware of all of the local policies and procedures, perhaps the ethics approval fields in the DANDI metadata needs to be explicitly required.

Could we require that in order to publish a Dandiset going forward the data contributor must enter the protocol identifier, email, and URL?
