Those who fancy a brand-new Xbox Series X console complete with beautiful art should check out this limited time giveaway courtesy of Microsoft.

Microsoft has recently revealed that it will be giving away a custom Xbox Series X console complete with art inspired by Capcom’s action-strategy title Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess.

Released on 19 July, Path of the Goddess is a unique, Japanese-inspired, single-player strategy game that has already been met with rave reviews.

“The game takes place on a mountain covered by defilement. During the day, purify the villages and prepare yourself for sundown. During the night, protect the Maiden against the hordes of the Seethe.

Repeat the day and night cycle until you cleanse the mountain of defilement and return peace to the land,” the official synopsis reads.

With a beautiful art style inspired by Japanese culture, Path of the Goddess would make the perfect accompaniment to a brand-new Xbox console and you could be lucky enough to get your hands on one.

The giveaway for the special edition Xbox Series X was unveiled on Twitter and the bundle, which is worth $544.98, can be won alongside a three-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

To enter, all you have to do is follow the official Xbox account and retweet the giveaway post.

The giveaway was originally only supposed to run until 31 July but it has now been extended until 7 August so you still have plenty of time to enter.

The catch is that the giveaway is only eligible for those from North America and you must be 18 and over to enter.

Winners will be selected on 8 August so fingers crossed you will be the lucky one!

Until then, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Femtosense introduces the AI-ADAM-100 system-in-package for affordable, efficient AI-based voice processing on the edge
Femtosense’s newest release, the AI-ADAM-100, combines a low-power Arm Cortex M0+ microcontroller from ABOV Semiconductor with the Femtosense Sparse Processing Unit (SPU), an in-house neural processing unit. This combination powers AI voice processing and cleanup capabilities on edge devices.

It leverages sparsity techniques to ensure that models can run on edge devices without intensive processing. Sparsity in AI refers to the presence of zeroes or non-zero values in the matrices and tensors used in machine learning models. No computation is required for these zero weights, heavily reducing processing requirements.

The Femtosense AI-ADAM-100 aims to bring voice control to various devices such as home appliances, hearing aids, industrial headsets, and consumer earbuds. These appliances can implement voice user interfaces that allow users to talk naturally in their own words. On-device voice cleanup functionality would reduce infrastructure costs and improve the accuracy of the data sent to the cloud. The Femtosense SiP also enables home appliance manufacturers to implement wake words for reduced power consumption.

Femtosense offers a software development kit with advanced sparse optimization tools, a hardware simulator, and the Femtocrux compiler for deployment. Custom AI models can be deployed to the Sparse Processing Unit with or without finetuning. Femtosense also provides a few ready-to-go demo AI models for noise cancellation and voice interfacing.

Currently, there are no development boards for testing the AI-ADAM-100, but there are two evaluation boards for the SPU-001 neural processing unit. The Evaluation Board (EVB) supports integration with external host systems with 16MB onboard flash and a PMOD header that offers full access to the SPU pins. The Evaluation Kit 2 (EVK2) is more capable with a Cortex-M7 host processor (with floating point unit), 2x onboard MEMS microphones, 3.5mm audio jacks for input/output, and a microSD card reader. It also integrates a host connector board from the open-source hearing aid platform, Tympan.

GEEKOM has announced that a Tecno x GEEKOM branded version of the Mega Mini G1 mini PC will make its debut at IFA 2024. Thanks to a unique design, the Mega Mini G1 looks quite like nothing else on the market. This mini PC sports a Raptor Lake-H Core i9 paired with up to 64 GB of memory, along with an RTX 4060 Laptop GPU, allowing for respectable performance.

The word 'unconventional' barely does justice to describe the appearance of the Tecno Mega Mini G1 that was announced earlier this year. The mini PC was loaded with impressive specs, including a sufficiently powerful discrete GPU along with integrated liquid cooling. Now, GEEKOM has announced that a Tecno x GEEKOM branded version of the Mega Mini G1 will make its way into IFA 2024, which is great news for mini PC enthusiasts since GEEKOM ships its products to most countries worldwide, while Tecno does not.

A single glance at the relatively chunky 6-liter chassis would be sufficient to admire the Mega Mini G1's integrated liquid cooling system that boasts a 6,888 mm² copper heat sink designed to handle up to 250 W of heat dissipation. AndroidPC.es shared some marketing materials for this interestingly styled mini PC, and the specifications sure do seem impressive, to say the least. Keep in mind that both the CPU and GPU are mobile versions, which may be a bit disappointing, considering mini PCs with desktop-class internals are not hard to find and are generally significantly more performant.

The Mega Mini G1 boasts an Intel i9-13900H 'Raptor Lake' CPU with 14 cores, 20 threads, and a maximum single-core boost clock of 5.4 GHz. This CPU is quite the beast, and keeps pace with AMD's high-end mobile offerings such as the Ryzen 7 7745HX. The Nvidia RTX 4060 Laptop GPU is no slouch either, managing high frame rates even in demanding titles at 1080p with ease. The system also boasts up to 64 GB of DDR4-5200 memory, and up to 4 TB of solid-state storage thanks to dual M.2 2280 SSD slots.

In terms of connectivity, the Mega Mini G1 offers a decently equipped port selection, including two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, and dual HDMI 2.0, USB-C, Thunderbolt, 2.5 G ethernet, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. An OCuLink port is also present, enabling fast eGPU connections. Wireless connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.2 and WiFi 6E.

Although there is no word on pricing or availability yet, we should soon have more information, given that GEEKOM has already confirmed the MEGA MINI G1's official launch at IFA 2024.

Amid recent market fluctuations, certain digital assets are poised for substantial growth in the near future. These cryptocurrencies have demonstrated resilience and a potential for rapid appreciation, positioning them for a possible market cap surge to $50 billion.

In this context, Finbold has identified two altcoins, XRP (XRP) and Dogecoin (DOGE), that exhibit strong potential to reach this significant market cap milestone by the end of August.

Although the price briefly retraced to $0.54, it has shown a robust 27% increase over one month, reflecting strong investor optimism.

Institutional interest is also growing, further boosting its bullish outlook. Additionally, data from Santiment highlights a surge in new wallet creations and heightened network activity, with 1,721 new wallets created in a single day and 47,363 individual addresses interacting on the network.

This increased participation underscores the growing interest in the XRP ecosystem. To reach a $50 billion market cap, XRP would need to increase by approximately 49.7%.

Dogecoin (DOGE)
Priced at $0.1324 with a market cap of $19.31 billion, Dogecoin has seen a notable 6% weekly gain.

Recent data from Whale Alert reveals significant movements of DOGE tokens, valued at over $61 million, suggesting that major investors are positioning themselves for potential gains.

On July 20, for instance, 400 million DOGE, valued at approximately $50.33 million, was moved from Robinhood to an unknown wallet.

Analysts are optimistic, projecting that Dogecoin’s price could surpass the $1 mark due to its strong community support and increasing acceptance as a payment method.

Dogecoin is currently in a favorable phase of its market cycle, with historical bullish cycles and recent breakout patterns indicating a potential for substantial price appreciation.

To reach a $50 billion market cap, Dogecoin would need to increase by approximately 159%.

Both cryptocurrencies are supported by strong market fundamentals and investor confidence.

If these trends continue, XRP and Dogecoin could indeed reach the $50 billion market cap by the end of August, offering substantial returns for investors.

However, the cryptocurrency market is highly volatile, making it crucial for investors to conduct thorough research and prioritize robust projects to ensure sound capital allocation.

Waveshare Pi5 Module BOX is a configurable mini computer kit for the Raspberry Pi 5
Waveshare Pi5 Module BOX is a multi-functional mini-computer kit designed for the Raspberry Pi 5. The housing of this kit is made from aluminum alloy and Waveshare lists three variants of this kit, the first one is the Pi5 Module BOX-A (PCIe to Gigabit Ethernet), Pi5 Module BOX-B (PCIe to 4-ch USB3.2 Gen1), and Pi5 Module BOX-C (PCIe to M.2 interface).

The kit looks very similar to the Waveshare Jetson Nano-powered mini-computer or the ODYSSEY-X86J4105 SBC with a case that we have reviewed previously, there was also this metal enclosure for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 that we have written about, feel free to check that out if you are interested in some similar products.

Waveshare Pi5 Module BOX A, B, C Specifications

The multi-functional all-in-one mini-computer kit provides enough internal space to hold various HATs, so it can be configured with a GbE ethernet adapter, a 4-ch USB 3.2 adapter, or a PCIe NVMe adapter. The case will include a Pi5 HDMI and Type-C adapter, which enables dual 4K outputs and two power supply options. The case design features various reserved airflow vents and the option to install a cooling fan that helps keep the Pi inside the enclosed cool.

The company also provides detailed instructions on how to install the Raspberry Pi 5 and the attachment boards in case which can be found on the company’s product page, there’s also a wiki page that’s empty at the time of writing.

The Waveshare Pi5 Module Box can be purchased from Aliexpres where the Pi5 Module BOX-A will cost you $21.93, the BOX-B goes for $26.49, and the BOX-C sells for $22.07. The box is also available on Amazon for $33.99 (BOX-A), $41.99 (BOX-B), or $35.99 (BOX-C).
