eBraille could also also include ink files

I am a braille transcriber and I have to prepare ink materials for the teacher. These materials are print equivalents of braille-specific materials, like the braille title page, transcriber's notes, and special symbols. It also includes spine information about the volume. This information is included so the teacher can know what is included in addition to the print text without them being able to read braille.

They are often very simple text files, like TXT or DOCX. Bundling them with the eBraille file would add complexity and size to the entire file but could make it easier to ensure that these materials stay with the bundle.

One issue with bundling these ink materials is that it would require a reading system that could pull the ink materials from the larger bundle. It would also mean that teachers and others that wanted to access the ink materials would need to know that they were included in the bundle and required specific software to retrieve. It would make the ink materials less discoverable than if they were just sent along with the larger eBraille file.

It may be worthwhile to include these ink materials inside the braille bundle. They could be kept in a simple format like TXT in a specific folder and then be retrieved by reading software. The existence of the ink materials could also be indicated in metadata.

Bundling the ink materials may introduce a level of complexity that exceeds its usefulness, so it could be better to just create the ink materials independently of the eBraille file and just ensure that they are all kept together. There would be risks that the ink materials could be lost but this is the current method and it has worked so far. The eBraille could also be, informally, zipped with the ink materials.
