Cannot access menu on Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Launch app on Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect an overflow button or a menu button somewhere since the tab
doesn't have a menu button.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.5.7 on android 4.4.2

Please provide any additional information below.
The lack of physical menu button prevents the use of the app entirely.
This probably affects all recent samsung products without physical or virtual
menu button.
