Is there a swipe trigger method?

Hi Guys,
I have added the diamajia's swipelayout.
Is there a method to trigger a fake swipe? Just to let the user know that it's swipe-able. From my layout, it's difficult to let the user know that it's a swipe layout unless i add some text "please swipe" to it.

I didn't have much luck with TouchUtils and Instumentation.
I wish to just add a small swipe or.. fling..or.. *boink .. to one of the child listview item.
