White Squares? Navigation Buttons?

Hey, I'm trying to implement this library into my project, but there are weird white squares at the bottom corners of the slider. I'm not sure why this is, and I've spent a bit of time trying to fix them. Does anybody know how to remove them? I assume they're some sort of navigation controls that I styled incorrectly.
