Description

Hi

I could really use a way to hook into a scenario's lifecycle for scripts that are not the scenario.
I'm communicating with the game server via HTTP commands, and I want to have some custom scripts loaded, but load each script only once per scenario (see #486).

I would like to allow re-loading 3rd party scenarios with no need to customise them, for that I can really use some global "game" table, that is re-set at the beginning of each game.

alternatively, global onGameInit() onGameUpdate() functions that accepts an init function as an argument would do even better.

Research direction

Start by tracing how scenarios are loaded and how HTTP commands communicate with the game server, using the requirement in #486 as context. Define lifecycle behavior for a per-game context or initialization and update hooks, including reloads of third-party scenarios. Done means scripts can load once per scenario without customizing those scenarios and the game state resets at the beginning of each game.
