Description

On master, when in helms with autorotation lock, clicking on a position in the radar leads to the wrong bearing +- 5 degrees approximately.

This issue does not happen in tactical and single pilot, or in the stable release.

  • The first image shows the position I clicked in (40 degrees)
  • The second image shows the final position, the bearing ends up being 43.3 degrees

PR #2390 could help debug this.

Research direction

Reproduce the bearing error on master in helms with autorotation lock, comparing radar clicks against tactical and single-pilot behavior and the stable release. Use PR #2390 as the first debugging reference; done means the clicked and final bearings agree in the affected mode without regressing the working modes.
